Hello! Welcome to Farm Girl Gallery. I’m Karen, a farm girl and artist and homemaker. Growing up on small northeast Kansas farm, the farm ways will never leave my heart. Fortunately, my country raised husband, Micah, shares this love. Together we are tackling the homestead and farming life of our own. We bought our log cabin home in 2019 and are raising our family to love the outdoors and farm living. I’ve always loved creating and have a Bachelor’s in Fine Art. I have done freelance graphic design for over the past ten years, working in mail, custom graphics, and logo design. I love being out on the farm, growing things and working hard. When I’m not spending quality time in the outdoors I am usually found in the kitchen. Pies are one of my specialties, along with fresh bread and delicious dinner menus.

Always an avid cook and baker, I have turned into an avid gardener also. My garden has been a great area of learning for me. The latest adventure is the family milk cow – affectionately named Bonnie.
